Choose shell or complete jacket
A shell-only listing and a shell with a liner are different purchases. Confirm what is included rather than treating a styled photograph as an inventory of the parcel. Compare the full cost after any missing components.
Use four measurements
Request flat chest width, shoulders, sleeve length and back length. Compare them with a jacket you already wear over similar layers. Small Long and Small Regular should not be treated as interchangeable.
Inspect closures and edges
Look at cuffs, zipper, snaps, pocket corners and lining. Ask whether photos show the exact jacket. Decide whether repairs suit regular wear or conflict with the kind of example you want for a collection.
